Thank you for this song and video to remind us that Jesus is indeed one of us and that whatever we do to the least of His brothers and sisters we do for Him.
I remember Bl. Mother Teresa’s comment that the poor were Jesus in His “distressing disguise”. She also said that she was grateful to the poor and the privilege of being among them.
God, help us to see your Face in all we meet, and let them see Your Face, Your Jesus, in us.
What a powerful reminder! Lord, help me to see Christ in those I encounter- especially those who seem most challenging. Please give me the grace and patience to see beyond the surface-beyond myself-to see You, Lord-all around me. Amen xxx
Jesus instructed us to pick up our cross and follow him.
Because of the above mentioned, I cannot help but believe that God is one of us, there is so much suffering in the world.
Regards,
Gene
